The 2015 Hanoi traditional craft village and cultural festival will be held at Quan Ngua Sport Palace, 30 Van Cao, Ba Dinh district Hanoi in October 7-11.
Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had a press conference to introduce the 2015 Hanoi traditional craft village and cultural festival in the theme of “Traditional quintessence – Integration and Spreading”.
This festival is an annually cultural activity to honor the cultural values and traditional craft villages of the country, enhance tourism cooperation and development. At the same time, this is one of the highlights to celebrate the 61st anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2015).
About 21 traditional craft villages are going to gather in this year’s festival such as ceramics, rattan, textiles, folk painting and wood carving villages… Especially, the festival will be more attractive because of various craftsmen’s performances of production process.
The festival’s exhibition will be divided into 9 zones, including 150 departments of traditional craft villages and 30 ones for Hanoi cuisine, 20 of travel companies.
