Pham Van Dong road, Dong Ngac, Xuan Dinh and Co Nhue commune, Tu Liem district, and Nghia Tan, Mai Dich and Dich Vong ward, Cau Giay district.
It’s 5,2km long, stretching from Thang Long southern bridgehead to Xuan Thuy crossroad, runs on National Route 32. This new name was given in July, 2001.
Pham Van Dong (1906 – 2000), born in Quang Ngai province. He was an associate of Ho Chi Minh. He served as prime minister of North Vietnam from 1955 through 1976, and was prime minister of a unified Vietnam from 1976 until he retired in 1987 under the rule of Le Duan and Nguyen Van Linh. He was considered one of Ho Chi Minh's closest lieutenants.
