To go from Hanoi to Ninh Binh city, you can choose the 2 following routes:
If you go by car, you can choose to take the route Cau Gie - Ninh Binh from Phap Van in south of Hanoi. The distance is only 80km in length and about 1 hour drive. However, if you choose this route, you will have to pay a fee of 30,000 VND. You can also choose a parallel route which is going along Highway No.1, however the road is pretty rugged.
If on a motorcycle, you can go straight along the Liberation, over Hatay, through Ly, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh to. Interval running motor is approximately 96km/ 2h.
