From Hanoi, you can reach Dien Bien by following 2 routes:
The first route is about 365km long. From the inner city, get started from Ha Dong District, and run along Highway No 6 through 2 provinces of Hoa Binh, Son La.
The second route has the length of 370 km. From the inner city, you keep the track on the Thang Long Highway, then go to TL 87A and TL70B. As you reach to intersection with Highway No. 32, turn left in the direction of Highway 32 and Highway 37. When you see the intersections with Highway 6, go along the Highway No.6 and you will see Dien Bien Province.
