Charmingly located in Nam Sach District, in the north Hai Duong province, and is one of the famous ceramic villages in the North of Vietnam.
The village has a long-standing history of the occupation as it started and developed from the Tran, Le and Mac dynasties. The production of the wares was the splendid blend of the green glaze of Ly-Tran dynasties ceramic. The new type of pottery reached its popularity in 15-16th centuries.
Ceramic products of Chu Dau, Hai Duong are famed for its high quality shown through the deep blue enamel on an ivory white base. It has also reached the standard of Taoism ceramic with delicate shapes and sparking, lively drawings.
