It’s 180m long, joining Hang Luoc street (Hang Ma cross road) to Lan Ong street, cut passing Hang Ca street.
In the early of 20 century, the Doan family was at 14 Cha Ca street opened a Cha Ca (Roasted fish, rice noodle, herbs, nuts, special fish source…). It became a famous because of being taste, unforgettable dish, and the street was named under this dish. Cha Ca is a specialty of Hanoian nowadays.
