Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Welcome up on arrival by local tour guide and driver, then we transfer to hotel. Check-in and relax in the rest of the day. Tonight, we enjoy our welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – City tour – Night train to Sapa (B, L, D)
At 8h00, we meet the tour guide and driver again and start our city tour today. We visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, The Presidential Palace, His House on Stilt, and The One Pillar Pagoda. After that, we visit the Temple of Literature and stop for our lunch.
In the afternoon, we visit Al – Noor Masjid Mosque Hanoi and Dong Xuan market. The rest of the afternoon, we are free for shopping. After dinner, we take the night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.
Day 3: Sapa (B, L, D)
Arriving in Lao Cai early morning, we transfer up to Sapa. Having breakfast at the hotel then we visit Ham Rong mountain to see the panorama of Sapa. After lunch, we visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages and then back to Sapa town for our dinner. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Transfer to Hanoi by bus (B, L, D)
This morning, we visit Cat Cat Village to see the daily life of black H’mong ethnic minority people then transfer to Lao Cai for our lunch. After lunch, we drive down to Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Halong Bay, “the Bay of Descending Dragon” which is located in the Northwest of Vietnam, with more than 1,500 square kilometers belongs to Quang Ninh Province in the Gulf of Tonkin. It has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage for its universal values of landscape, geology, and geomorphology, respectively in 1994 and 2000. It is also the accommodation of many fishing communities with a population of more than 1,600 people. The residents live on floating houses and boats, making their own lives by fishing and aquaculture.
Morning, we depart to Halong Bay through the Red River Delta of Vietnam. Arriving at the pier at midday, we move to the boat with the welcome of the crew team. After that, we have our lunch while cruising deeper into the Bay. We stop to visit Thien Cung cave and pass hundreds of islands and islets. Later today, we travel back to Hanoi.
Day 6: Departure Hanoi (B)
We are free at leisure for last minutes shopping and our awaiting vehicle takes us back to the airport for our flight home. Trip ends. Thanks for making the Hanoi tour with us!
